Michele J. Dimaira D.M.D.,
M.S., PA
- After graduating in the
top 5 from her class at the New Jersey Dental School in 1990, Dr.
Dimaira began her experience in the surgical placement of dental
implants before they were common place. During her unique
two-year General Practice Residency at Lyons VA Hospital, Lyons,
New Jersey, she was able to develop techniques to improve implant
success.
- Dr. Dimaira continued her
years of post-doctoral education in Los Angeles, having the
exceptional opportunity to train in both a highly productive
dental service , and one of the original implant centers in the
Unites States.
- In addition to a
certificate in Periodontics from the West Los Angeles VA Hospital,
Dr. Dimaira received a Masters of Science degree in Oral Biology
from the University of California, Los Angeles. The University of
California recognized her outstanding work conducting research,
teaching and treating patients by honoring her as a Distinguished
Scholar, bringing that special award for the first time to the
UCLA dental School.
- A lifetime state resident,
Dr. Dimaira maintains a private practice in Periodontics and
Implantology in Montville, New Jersey.
