Dear Dr. Dimaira: I want to
thank you so very much for your compassion and generosity in
caring for my son in your Montville office yesterday. You have
eased the tension of this unfortunate situation that we have
dealt with for years regarding the accident that occurred to his
teeth at the age of 16. This was a trauma he suffered both
emotionally and physically. He never had a fear of going to Dr.
Genung for dental care as we went every six months for checkups
since he was a toddler. He has the most beautiful straight teeth
and to this day has never had a cavity. Due to this trauma with
all of the years of major dental work he now gets anxiety upon
approaching any dental care. Caroline Genung was not
exaggerating when she said you were the best doctor in the
field. My son said you were wonderful and that he was actually
soothed with your kind ways while you were working on him. Karen
and your office personnel were very efficient, understanding,
and helpful. With all of these factors in play, what could have
been a trying situation turned out to be on e in which my son
got the best care, by the best people, with much generosity on
your part, especially during these difficult economic times. I
want to extend my deepest gratitude, as you are a credit to your
profession. It is nice to know that there are “real doctors” who
are “real people” who care for “real people” and not just

I have been under the care
of Dr. Dimaira for 6 years. Care being the definitive word. Her
expertise, genuine empathy, and constant care for the comfort of
her patients has ended my 10 year fear of going to the dentist.
Because of anxiety disorder I had neglected my teeth and, having
developed an abscess, I was referred to Dr. Dimaira. Her calm
demeanor always reassures me that whatever gum or tooth problem
I have can be treated and fixed – and it always has been –
expertly. One of my favorite things is that she hums quietly
during what I feel is a complicated procedure. If she’s not
worried, then why should I be? Dr. Dimaira has surrounded
herself with a wonderful staff who emulate her philosophy. I’ve
always found them to be welcoming and to be setting a tone of
comfort and familiarity. I was surprised, at first, to be
personally greeted by so many people! Over the years I have had
many procedures performed by Dr. Dimaira and her staff, from a
routine cleaning, to an emergency extraction, to implants. There
have never been any complications or surprises or untreated
pain. I’ve come to believe that she is the best at what she does
and that her patients are very fortunate to have her as their
doctor. I still thank my family dentist for that referral. The
best part of Dr. Dimaira’s care is that I always leave each
appointment thinking “Now that wasn’t so hard, was it?” And I’m

You have a quiet, confident manner and are always professional
and caring. You showed us great kindness several years ago when
my husband had bladder cancer. Thank God today he is cancer
free. You have done implants and other procedures. Some things
you have done gratis for us. Please know that all you do never
goes unnoticed or un appreciated. Your entire staff always
greets us with a friendly smile and is always accommodating when
we make appointments or have any questions. The office is always
clean and neat. You are an outstanding doctor. It is hard to
find someone in this day and age with all your fine qualities,
